„Stars auf Eis – von und mit Katarina Witt“ – Series 2

Following the success of the first series in 2006, Series 2 of “Stars auf Eis” (“Stars on Ice”) starts on ProSieben on 13 December 2007 and will be broadcast Thursdays at 8:15 p.m.

The top skaters and eleven celebrities on “Stars auf Eis”

Racing driver Christina Surer, wedding planner Frank Matthee, Giulia Siegel, Verena Kerth, actor Patrick Bach, Swiss singer Patrick Nuo, top model Yvonne Schröder, comedian Susanne Pätzold and Boris Entrup are among the stars braving the ice for Series 2 of the show. The celebrities on this series of ProSieben’s “Stars auf Eis – von und mit Katarina Witt” (“Stars on Ice – produced and hosted by Katarina Witt”), will be supported by the following professional figure skaters: Italian Olympic ice-dancing medal winner Maurizio Margaglio, third in the world René Lohse, eleven-times professional world champion Denise Biellmann, skating partners Mikkeline Kierkgaard and Norman Jeschke, Vladimir Tsvetkov, Paul Pradel, Jan Luggenhölscher, Susanne Peters, Pauline Schubert and Darya Nucci.

Katarina Witt and the “Stars auf Eis”

Oliver Petszokat, winner of Series 1 of “Stars auf Eis”, dons his skates to join host, presenter and co-producer Katarina Witt as co-presenter. Katarina Witt is highly impressed with the contestants and, together with her co-presenter, shares in all the tension and excitement with them. Whenever the judges’ marks are too harsh or a contestant does badly in the public vote, Katarina Witt consoles the celebrity skaters and gives them tips and advice to help them overcome any initial disappointments.
